I moved my blog from Leaflet back to Micro.blog, but I already paid for a yearly subscription to Leaflet, so I'm going to see how it goes using it for my weeknotes. I do like how standard.site is becoming its own RSS-adjacent thing. Standard Reader is really nice. A lot of stuff on ATProto is but I’m always afraid I’m putting all my eggs into one basket with something so new. I’m on Bluesky, and at one point I was using Leaflet for my blog, Standard Reader, and Skyfeed for RSS. The fact that RSS has been around nearly 30 years is a selling point for me even if it isn’t as feature-rich as what’s on ATProto.

If you can create something yourself, you should do it, but in my opinion, having a programme that can change levels of existing games without any knowledge is a no go. You wouldn’t change a book halfway through; you wouldn’t change the outcome of a film halfway through; and you shouldn’t be changing assets of a game on the fly either, because what is the point of the original developer putting all of that hard work into something?
